What is the turn-around time on the Segway Advertising Chariots?

We stock every style of our shield ready for immediate shipping. We can usually ship on the same day if an order is completed by 1:00 PM Standard Pacific Time with NO GRAPHICS.

We ship via Ground services (FedEx or UPS) which usually takes about 4 business days to reach East Coast. Express services are available but cost much more due to the packaging size. The Abrams shields ship via Freight Services due to their extra large size.

What is the turn-around time on the Segway Advertising Chariots with Graphics?

Since all printing and wrapping of the shields are done in-house we can offer express service if required. However, we ask for a 48 hours from the time we receive the final artwork and approval. We follow very strict guidelines set by our media supplier, which requires the printed graphics to sit for 24 hours prior to being laminated. This process can be expedited but it will void our warrantee of the graphic wrap as we can not ensure perfect and long-lasting graphic wrap.

What is the turn-around time on the Custom LCD - Segway Advertising Chariots?

We ask for 3-5 business days depending on the complexity of the project from the final approval and the arrival date of all the necessary parts such as the LCD Screen to complete a custom chariot.

Do you ship international?

Yes, we are capable of shipping worldwide. We primarily use internationally based freight logistics companies for all international shipments.

What is the turn-around time on Billboard & Concession Trailers?

All billboard and concession trailers are made to order. Segway™ billboard trailers usually take about 3 weeks and concession trailers about 5 weeks depending on the quantity to manufacture and ship.

How many hours can a Segway™ operate?

Depending on the conditions and the style of riding a fully charged Segway can travel up to 24 miles. During events with minimal movement the battery should last around 6-8 hours.

Who handles permits?

Permits are usually applied and paid for by the client or the agency. We will be happy to assist if there are questions about safety or laws regarding our services.

What about uniforms/apparel?

The client provides special uniforms, costumes and apparel. Unless specified differently, our staffs wear khaki/denim pants or shorts with client-supplied shirts and hats.

Are there limitations on what you can sample?

Other than the sample being legal and non-offensive, the only real limitation is size. Depending on the size of the samples and the logistics involved, we do have trailer options available for an added fee.

Are there times of the day or areas you won't operate?

Segways can function just about anywhere, as long as no safety risks exist. Some areas of operation may require that we provide and bill for security service. Examples are events in "bar districts" or venues that serve alcohol and have more "active" crowds.

What turnaround time do you need to be able to work an event?

The more time we have to prepare, the better our ability to assist with every detail. We generally request 10-15 business days to finalize, produce graphics and get equipment and personnel in place for the events that we do in-house.

Events that are performed by our network partners will be based on their requirements.

Rush/Immediate services are also available and may incur additional fees. We suggest that you book the event early to guarantee availability of operators and equipment.

What if I want to use my own operators?

If a client or agency wants to use its own operators, that can be arranged. It's only a matter of training, waivers and different type of service contract.
